It gives higher grinding performance than the conventional fused alumina abrasives, because its cutting edge is fractured microscopically and superior cutting ability is maintained in surface and cylindrical grinding. Grinding wheel made of ceramic abrasive with has a higher durability and longer life, which is 5-10 times than the grinding wheel made of common corundum.Its high-performing seeded gel ceramic alumina and friable aluminum oxide abrasive blend lasts three to five times longer than conventional aluminum oxide wheels, and its self-sharpening abrasive maximizes sharp edges on tools and dies.
