Green Silicon Carbide
Green Silicon Carbide is a non-metallic mineral product produced by high-quality quartz sand, petroleum coke, and salt at a high temperature of over 1800ºC in the electric resistance furnace. It contains more than 97% SiC, good self-sharpness, and its toughness is slightly lower than black silicon carbide. Green silicon carbide is suitable for refractory materials and abrasives processing hard alloy, metallic and non-metallic materials with hard and brittle features such as copper, brass, aluminum, magnesium, jewel, optical glass, ceramics, etc. Green silicon carbide micro powder is also a kind of ceramics material.
